En-suite Shower Room
When restoring Edinburgh’s Georgian properties, we often come across a unique feature which can be used to the homeowner’s advantage – with striking results! Such was the case when converting a lawyer’s office into a basement flat. We uncovered an old vaulted safe room with the original steel door intact and converted it into an en-suite shower room complete with Sonos sound system.
We decorated the walls and vaulted ceiling with mini metro-tiles for continuity, added a rain-shower head and hand-held shower, sealed the original steel door and created another entrance from the master bedroom.
